DEV LOG: KAITO FIGURE





Acryllic topcoat is done. for now at least, This looks a lottttttt better than my Very Very first attempt that I had to acetone off.

Dev Log: KAITO FIGURE

Not pictured because it's late and I don't feel like it, but I put a layer of mod podge on the hair and face to seal it. It made the eye color go away sure, but to be expected since it was a water based marker. It doesn't smudge Micron. :)

When this all dries fully, and I repaint the eye color, I'll be done. It's nice to have projects that sour, but then you start from ground zero and do something even better. You learn new things every day.

i think i'd cry if i messed up my hard work you're very brave to keep working on this even after all the mistakes!! the hair looks really good so far.

Thank you! If anything, it's the sheer power of 'I spent 65$ on this. So I'm going to work on it until it kills me.'

I'm sure I could've gotten it cheaper, but there's an anime store near the mall near my apartment, so.. why not. Surprised to see any Vocaloids besides Miku since Miku gets so many cool figurines. I wonder if there were more Vocaloid figures in the store that I looked over since I had no use for it, but then well when you need it.. Oh well.


It's time for me to go to bed, I'll take pics when my OC-ified figure is done. Very content with how it came out, and again, I'm learning to be okay with not being perfect.

PROJECT COMPLETE: KAITO FIGURE



I lied, sorry, did the finishing touches. I'm aware the hair looks lumpy... but I don't care. I'm happy that I can look at the figure and recognize it's my OC, Hitomu. I am very painfully aware all the flaws it may have, but it makes it personalized. After all, no one's perfect.
But I can rest easy knowing my project is done.

Objectively a downgrade, but an upgrade to me because I got to customize a figure and turn it into my oc.

UPDATES;

Shiisa clay figure broke apart and painting just peeled as it dried. Called it quits and threw it out. I made cookies that ended up being biscuity because I put too much egg I think. Also I made chicken hearts. My sweet biscuits and chicken hearts came out good.

I beat Trauma Center New Blood, then proceeded to start playing Second Opinion. Enjoying my time so far. Can't wait to see which mission makes me have to go from an all normal run to being forced to finish the game on Easy. (Yeesh. New Blood I did have to do chapter 7 on easy. It got stupid real fast.)

Painting a cigar box I got from work. (2 actually, the CEO said that he didn't need these empty cigar boxes.. so I took them home!)
